Abstract Submission Notification

 It is a pleasure to invite you to SIOP Asia 2025 Congress that will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on April 12-15, 2025. Abstract Submission for SIOP Asia 2025 is NOW OPEN, and the deadline for abstract submission is Sunday, December 15, 2024 (until 4PM GMT). To ease the submission process and the subsequent follow-up process, please consider the following guidelines, information, tips, and terms mentioned:

WHO SHOULD SUBMIT ABSTRACTS IN SIOP ASIA 2025?

  1. Pediatric Hematologists/Oncologists
  2. Pediatric Oncology Nurses
  3. Researchers
  4. Pediatric Surgeon
  5. Pediatric Radiation Oncologists
  6. Healthcare Quality and Risk Specialists
  7. Medical Students
  8. Other allied healthcare professionals

INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS:

Please read the following sections carefully to ensure your abstract meets the conference’s submission guidelines and objectives. Failure to abide by these rules would result in abstract rejection:

  1. Submission of new research projects is encouraged. However, the studies that have been previously published or presented after April 30, 2024, can also be submitted.
  2. All abstracts must be submitted in clear ENGLISH LANGUAGE
  3. Authors must identify the right CATEGORY.
  4. There must be four mandatory sections of the abstract:
    • Background/Objectives
    • Material and Methods
    • Results
    • Conclusions
  5. Maximum word count will be 300 words (exclusive of title, authors’ names, and keywords). Pictures/tablets or graphs are not allowed in abstracts.
  6. Abstracts must be submitted ONLINE through the OFFICIAL CONFERENCE WEBSITE
  7. DEADLINE for abstract submission is Sunday, 15th December 2024 (until 4 PM GMT). Any abstract received after the deadline will not be accepted.
  8. It’s the responsibility of the authors to specify the name and designation of the presenting author (if not the principal author) and mention the full names of all co-authors with their affiliations.
  9. It’s the responsibility of the corresponding/principal authors to ensure that there is no conflict of interest, and all co-authors are in agreement on the submission of their study to the SIOP Asia 2025 Congress.
  10. Do not use proprietary names alone in the title or body of the abstract. If necessary, you may include a proprietary name in parentheses directly after the generic name on first use in the body of the abstract.
  11. Statements like “results will be discussed” are not acceptable and may lead to a rejection of the abstract.
  12. CASE REPORTS will not be accepted
  13. Acceptance for oral abstract presentation will be decided by the “Scientific Committee” and their decision will be final. Emails regarding the acceptance/rejection will be sent to the corresponding author as soon as the decision is made. Rejected abstracts will not be reconsidered.
  14. All other successful abstracts for POSTER Presentations will be invited for POSTER DISPLAY within the conference venue and viewed during poster viewing breaks by conference participants and the reviewers’ team.

AUTHORS’ AGREEMENT

By submitting the abstract, the author/s confirms and agrees to the following:

  • All authors approve submitting this work for display during the conference days and/or presentation if selected.
  • The authors have done the work reported in the abstract and take full responsibility for the contents.
  • The authors transfer all copyright ownership of the abstract to the scientific committee for SIOP Asia 2025.
  • The authors agree to confine their presentation to information in the abstract.
  • The author will immediately notify the SIOP Asia 2025 Scientific Committee if they are unable to make a presentation or if the presenting author is changed.
  • The authors guarantee that clinical studies have proceeded with official permission from the proper authorities.

CANCELLATION:

We require that all cancellations for abstracts submitted are made through email no later than 20th December 2024. Cancellations must be made by the principal author by his/her email only.
