Dr. Giuseppe Troisi, MD, MPH, is a Technical Officer at the WHO Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean, Department of NCDs and Mental Health. He supports national programs for cancer prevention and control, with a focus on childhood cancer and women’s cancers.

He joined the World Health Organization (WHO) in Geneva in 2019, working on NCD prevention and control, helping Member States implement multi-sectoral strategies to reduce NCD risk factors. Dr. Troisi is a medical doctor with clinical experience in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases and holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Global Health Policy from Columbia University, New York.
